AI will soon conquer most things, quantum will conquer the rest, all your bases are belong to them.
What AI challenges, another AI will defend, and so the number one risk to your security will remain, people. That might be you, it might be members of your organisation, or it might be the neerdowells that want to steal something from you. It might be nefarious or naive; intentional or accidental.
To reduce the risks, look after people, treat them well, teach them, nurture them, be critical & fair and leave them better off than when they came across your path. Do right by the planet and all its peoples (OK, this might attract attention). Let the shareholders eat second, or third.
Have an InfoSec policy, get your ISO 27001 or NIST CSF accreditation, live your ISMS, do the best that you can, but if you don’t look after your people, your security posture is a bit like this locker.
